In Red Shape Invasion, you have a round weapon that looks like a donut. You try to stop red shapes from getting too close. You click with your mouse to shoot. If you hold the mouse button down, your weapon can keep firing. You want to shoot all the shapes before they fill the screen.
The shapes come in waves. First not many, slow moving. Later, more shapes and some move fast or zigzag. You try not to get overwhelmed. Sometimes you get little rests between waves. You might collect upgrades that help you shoot faster or better.
The game looks simple. Backgrounds are plain so you see shapes easily. Sounds are basic — pew sounds when you shoot, a pop or crunch when you hit shapes. Music plays softly. It’s fun if you like fast games where you test how fast you can click and aim.
